RESULTS FROM THE 30TH ANNUAL WILLMAR CAR CLUB CAR SHOW & SWAP MEET — MAY 16, 2010
Best of Show awards were presented in the custom class and in the stock class during the Thirtieth Annual Willmar Car Club Car Show and Swap Meet held on May 16 at Kennedy Elementary School in Willmar. Paul & Judy Bath of New Brighton won the Best of Show award in the custom class with a 1941 Willys coupe. Ron Freund of Rogers won the Best of Show award in the stock class with a 1966 Ford Mustang fastback. People’s Choice award in custom class went to Leo Whitman of Brainerd for his 1934 Plymouth PF 4 door sedan. People’s Choice award in stock class went to Doug Wick of St. Cloud for his 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. The Club Participation award went to the St. Cloud Antique Auto Club (Pantowners) from St. Cloud which had 24 vehicles entered. The Oldest Vehicle award went to Lou Hanson of Belgrade with a 1926 Ford Model T touring 4 door convertible. Leo Whitman of Brainerd and his 1934 Plymouth PF 4 door sedan also received the Charlie Nelson’s Favorite award provided by Charlie & Jan Nelson. The Show Chairman’s Choice went to Randy Parde of Marshall for his 1936 Ford roadster. The Kandi Mall Display Traveling Trophy provided by Charlie & Jan Nelson for the Kandi Mall Manager’s Choice Vehicle was presented to Greg Gjerdingen of Willmar for his 1980 Dodge St. Regis 4 door. The Traveling Trophy provided by Charlie & Jan Nelson for the Visiting Car Club Choice from the Willmar Car Club Show Display was presented to Doug Woltjer for his 1941 Willys Americar sedan.
